Two men arrested over murder
Two people were arrested in connection with the murder of a 35-year-old man in Narayanganj's Rupganj upazila on Sunday.The arrestees are Arman, 35, and Setul, 29, residents of Chhatirchar village in Kishoreganj's Nikli upazila.A team of Rapid Action Battalion-11 conducted a drive in the Ashrafabad Road area of Madbar Bazar under Kamrangirchar Police Station in Dhaka on Sunday and arrested them, Rab said in a press release yesterday.The arrestees were handed over to Rupganj police, according to the release.According to the primary investigation, on the night of September 19, the two accused took Sumon, a mason, behind a factory and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot.
A case was filed against unidentified people at Rupganj Police Station following a complaint lodged by the victim's mother Nargis Begum.
